In early November, Professor Rebecca M. Brown shared her work with the Saxena Center for Contemporary South Asia and the History of Art and Architecture department at Brown University. Her talk, entitled Roots in Relation: The Painted Gardens of KCS Paniker, was based on her book-in-progress on the artist; and she was excited to participate in on Prof. Holly Shaffer’s grad/undergrad seminar on Real and Unreal Landscapes, where she talked with students about her doctoral research on colonial Patna.
