Kendra Brewer, a recipient of the Austen Stokes Ancient America Research Stipend, undertook a research trip to Mexico during the 2024 intercession period to further her honors thesis in History of Art. The week-long trip included visits to churches and former convents in Tepeaca, Acatzingo, Tecali de Herrera, Quecholac. While in Mexico City, she conducted research at the Archivo General de la Nación, where she reviewed relevant legal documents and manuscripts.

Kendra is a fourth year History of Art major working under the supervision of Prof. Aaron Hyman to complete her honor thesis.
