Achievements & Congratulations: July 2020

The Department of the History of Art is thrilled to announce the below achievements and extend congratulations on the below:

  • Amy Miranda will begin her role as a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Archive Archaeology program at Aarhus University (Denmark) in September 2020.
  • Prof. Aaron Hyman was awarded an ACLS Faculty Fellowship for the book project, Seeing Script: On Artistic and Archival Affinity in the Early Modern Spanish World
  • Prof. Aaron Hyman had an article entitled, “Washing the Archive,” (co-written with Dana Leibsohn, Smith College), published in Early American Literature.
  • Welcome, Dr. Franco Rossi as the 2020-2022 Austen-Stokes Postdoctoral Fellow!
  • Thank you and best wishes to Dr. Allison Caplan, the inaugural Austen-Stokes Postdoctoral Fellow, who has begun her new position at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
  • A very special thank you to Prof. Marian Feldman for her service as Chair of the Department and warm welcome to Prof. Rebecca Brown as the new Department Chair!
