Austen-Stokes Ancient Americas Foundation Research Stipends for Undergraduate Study
Undergraduate students in the Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts and Sciences who are doing original research projects, engaging in study abroad, or developing other special projects related to art of the ancient Americas are eligible for this special grant program. The program will enable students to realize current or proposed overseas projects and to encourage new projects in art history, film, history, and writing.
The Austen-Stokes Ancient Americas Foundation will award research stipends to successful undergraduate students who wish to pursue independent research or an internship directly related to study of art of the ancient Americas. Applicants should submit a one-page proposal with a clear synopsis of the study, its methods and objectives, and how the experience will contribute to the student’s current course of study and eventual career goals. The application should include a proposed budget and project dates along with one letter of support from a faculty adviser or professor familiar with the research.
