Employment Opportunities

Roman Search

Johns Hopkins University invites applications for a joint position in Roman art and architecture. Although the area of specialization is open, a focus on late antiquity would be especially welcome. The search is open-rank, with either a tenure-track or tenured appointment possible.  The primary appointment will be in History of Art, but the position is integral to the Interdepartmental Ph.D. Program in Classical Art and Archaeology, administered by the two departments jointly. Applicants are invited to submit an application, including a detailed curriculum vitae, electronically by December 11, 2009. For further information contact either Professor Stephen Campbell, stephen.campbell@jhu.edu, or Professor Matthew Roller, mroller@jhu.edu.  Johns Hopkins University is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.  Applications from women and minorities are encouraged.
