Visual Resources Collection
Introduction
The Visual Resources Collection of the History of Art Department provides images for teaching. The collection consists of approximately 316,000 slides, 65,000 photographs, and a growing number of digital images.
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 8:30-5:00
Usage
The Visual Resources Collection is open to the following:
- The faculty of the University
- Students giving class presentations
Images for History of Art Courses
The Visual Resources Collection maintains an on-line digital image archive used in conjunction with specific courses each semester. Access is restricted.
Employment Opportunity
The Visual Resources Collection employs 3-4 undergraduate students per year through the College Work Study Program to bind, label, and refile slides. If you are interested in applying for one of these positions, please contact Ann Woodward.
